Top Ten Books I’m Not Sure I Want to Read for Various Reasons

toptentuesday

This week the Broke and Bookish suggests that we list the top ten books that I’m not sure I want to read for various reasons.

1. Allegiant (Divergent Book 3). I wasn’t that crazy about Divergent and I hated Insurgent, so I
think I’ll pass on the third one.

2. The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. I’ve had this sitting on my shelf forever so I doubt if
I’ll read it.

3. Emma by Jane Austen. Sorry Jane Austen fans, but her books are not for me.

4. The Princes of Ireland by Edward Rutherfurd. I would love to read about my ancestors but this
book is sooooooo big.

5. The Poisonwood Bible by Kingsolver. Another one that’s just been sitting on my shelf forever.

6. Wicked: Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. I think I’d just rather listen to the
music.

7. Plainsong by Kent Haruf. It’s been sitting there on the shelf making friends with The Historian and The Poisonwood Bible.

8. A Passage to India by E.M. Forester

9. Swann’s Way by Marcel Proust. I forget what that one’s about.

10. Books by Faye Kellerman because most of them deal with abuse to children and adolescents.
