top ten books i really want to read but don’t own yet

toptentuesday

It’s Tuesday again and time for Top Ten Tuesday. Following the lead of the Broke and Bookish, this week’s topic is top ten books I really want to read but don’t own yet. These are in no particular order.

Etta Mae

Etta Mae’s Worst Bad-Luck Day by Ann B. Ross. Those of you who are familiar with the Miss Julia books should check this one out. It looks like it would be a lot of fun!

illegal gardener

The Illegal Gardener by Sara Alexi. This is the next book my online book club is reading. I really need to get back there and start reading with the gals again.

reading like a writer

Reading Like a Writer: A Guide for People Who Love Books and for Those Who Want to Write Them by Francine Prose. It just interests me.

true light dawn's light

True Light and Dawn’s Light by Terri Blackstock. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Books 1 and 2. These are numbers 3 and 4 in this post-apocalyptic Christian fiction series.

john

John – Eternal Love (the Passion Translation) by Brian Simmons. There are only about five or six of the books in the Bible that this author has translated into this new Passion Translation. Some of the others are Letters from Heaven (Epistles of Paul), Luke, Psalms, and Proverbs.

renewal for the wounded warriors

Renewal for the Wounded Warrior by R. Loren Sandford.

Healilng the wounded spirit

Healing The Wounded Spirit by John and Paula Sandford.

ice palace

Ice Palace by Edna Ferber.

Four Past Midnight

Four Past Midnight by Stephen King. This one is on my list of “The Books of Lost.”
