Between Us Girls
Author: Sally John
Publisher: Harvest House, July 1, 2014
352 pages
Paperback, Kindle
Christian Fiction

♥♥♥♥

Between Us Girls is the first book in a new heartwarming series (Family of the Heart series) by Sally John.

The novel builds as you read it and eventually you just can’t put it down. The characters are what makes this book great. Jasmyn Albright is the main character who feels she just can’t fit in anywhere, but there is also Sam, Liv, Keagan, Chad and Beau. During the novel each character grows. The novel is set in communities in California and Illinois.

I liked this book because it was different from anything I had ever read. There is a Christian slant to it, but it definitely is not preachy. The plot was well thought out and it and moves very quickly.

The main setting, Casa de Vida, is a place I’d love to live. The characters are far from picture
perfect. They could be people you’d know in your own community. There is an element of romance, but it is not the main theme. I would recommend it.

A complimentary copy of this book was given to me from Harvest House through NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.
